SPLIT BALACLAVA.
What remains when the face has been divided.
Black fabric on one side, white on the other — marked and left unfinished. Openings stay only where the eyes still need to pass. Cords fall from both halves, not to hold them together, but because nothing else remains to keep them up.
It doesn’t unify. It stays divided.
